Day 1: Arrival /Birding in Entebbe.
Upon your arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will be met and transferred to the The Boma Guest House your accommodation for tonight. Depending on your time of
arrival you can bird around Entebbe – Botanical gardens, UWEC and environs.
Birds to look out for include yellow-throated leaf love, the great blue Turaco, Ross’s Turaco, the black and white casqued hornbill, the pied hornbill. Yellow backed weaver, orange weaver, brown-throated weaver, and great reed warbler, sedge warbler and the fish eagle.

Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
This morning you will drive to Murchison Falls Park birding en-route for birds like the White-crested Turaco, lunch will be at Masindi before proceeding to the park driving en-route to the top of the Falls for Pel’s Fishing owl, Rock Prancticoles, Bat Hawk and a variety of night Jars. Dinner and overnight Paraa Lodge.

Day 3: Delta Cruise Game drive
This morning you will take a boat trip downstream to the delta with a picnic breakfast where abundant water birds can be viewed on the way if you are lucky you might site the elusive shoebill.
Later return to the lodge for lunch and have some time to relax before going out for a wildlife safari exploring the many tracks and trails around Murchison Falls Park. Bird species here include the Blue-naped Moosebird, Silver bird, Buff-bellied Warbler, Black-headed Batis, Black-headed Gonolek, Chestnut-crowned Sparrow-weaver and the highly localised White-rumped Seedeater.
The riverine thickets hold Yellow-throated Leaflove, Red-winged Grey Warbler, White-crested Touraco, Double-toothed Barbet, Grey Kestrel, Heuglin’s Francolin and many others. Overnight Paraa Lodge

Day 4: Birding in Murchison Falls and a Boat Cruise to bottom of the falls
Morning birding, in the afternoon there will be a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls and some more birding before dark. Overnight Paraa Lodge.

Day 5: Budongo Forest
Set off early morning for a birding safari in the Budongo Forest via Kaniyo Pabidi for a variety of forest birds including Foxy Cisticola, White-winged Black Tit and Red-winged Pytilia and the recently discovered population of Puvel’s Illadopsis, a dowdy bird with an impressive voice. Day 6 and 7: Birding the Royal Mile and Escarpment
Wake up early to drive to the Royal Mile for species like Cassin’s Hawk Eagle, Nahan’s Francolin, Chocolate-backed and Dwarf Kingfishers, Brown-backed Scrub Robin.
Next day bird around the escarpment be on the look out for Fox Cisticola, Cliff charts,

Day 8: Drive to Kibaale
On your drive to Fortportal you will drive via Hoima there are a few papyrus swamps where specialties such as White-winged Warbler and Papyrus Gonolek can be found, while the surrounding scrub may harbor, Double-toothed Barbet, Black-bellied Seed cracker and Gray-headed Olive back. Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Forest Guest House

Day 9: Chimpanzee Trek and Birding
Kibaale is home to nine species of primates and there is the opportunity for a Chimpanzee trek on easy, well-marked trails. Birding in the forest is also very rewarding and you could encounter White-naped Pigeon, African Gray Parrot, Black Bee-eater, Hairy-breasted Barbet, Chestnut-winged and Purple-headed Starlings, Blue-throated Brown and Superb Sunbirds, White-collared Olive back among others.
In the afternoon bird around the Bigodi wetland Sanctuary, overnight Chimpanzee Forest Guest House

Day 10: Birding as your transfer to Entebbe for Departure
This morning start early with birding stopovers en route to connect with your International flight out of Entebbe

The Safari includes; transfers to and from the Airport, transportation in a 4 wheel drive vehicle with opening roof including fuel, services of a professional bird driver guide, accommodation as stated, park entrance fees, boat cruises where mentioned, ferry crossing where mentioned, scheduled boat trip to the delta where mentioned, meals as indicated, bottled water in the vehicle.
