This safari is for the primate lovers. It includes Chimpanzee trekking in Kibaale Forest and Mountain Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Day 01: Arrival – Entebbe
Upon arrival, your driver/guide will be waiting to collect you and take you on a short drive to the Boma Guest House for an overnight stay. Overnight The Boma Guest House.
Day 02: Transfer to Kibaale Forest
After breakfast your safari guide will transfer you through Mubende arriving at your accommodation for a late lunch. Alternatively your guide can arrange for you to have lunch at Fortportal. In the evening there will be a visit to Bigodi Wetlands. Overnight Chimpanzee Forest Guest House

Day 03: Chimpanzee and other Primate Watch
After breakfast you will be transferred to the forest for a half day Forest walk. The walk in the forest by experienced guides takes you to an area where a troop of chimpanzees will be feeding.
Be on the look out for the Red Colubus(an endemic species only found in this forest in Uganda). Other primates include, Grey Cheeked Mangabeys and others. In the afternoon, there will be a village walk. Dinner and overnight Chimpanzee Forest Guest House.

Day 04: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest driving past Queen Elizabeth National park. You are likely to see Uganda Kob, Elephant, Waterbuck, Cape Buffalo and may be lucky to find the tree climbing Lions along the main road relaxing in fig trees. You will arrive in Bwindi late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight Engagi Lodge.

Day 05: Gorilla tracking
After breakfast you will be taken to the park headquarters for a briefing on the gorilla tracking etiquettes. The rangers and guides will then take you through the thick and steep vegetation until the gorillas are located.
Once located, you will be allowed 1 hour with the gorillas. After the trek return to the park headquarters where you guide will be waiting for you to transfer back to the lodge. Overnight Engagi Lodge.

Day 06: Lake Mburo National Park
This morning you will depart for Lake Mburo National Park. Your drive will take you through the scenic route known as “Little Switzerland” and Ankole country. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. Overnight Mantana Tented Camp.

Day 07: Transfer to Entebbe Airport for your international flight out
After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a final morning game drive as you leave Lake Mburo. Return to Entebbe to connect with your international flight out.
