Uganda Ultimate Adventure Tour (16 Days)

This safari takes you to all of the major tourist attractions in Uganda including Wildlife safaris and boat cruises in Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Lake Mburo National Parks.

It also includes Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and Chimpanzee trekking in Kibaale Forest plus a visit to the source of the River Nile in Jinja. You will also have a chance to visit the orphaned chimpanzees in Ngamba Island supported by the Jane Goodall Foundation

Day One: Arrival
Upon arrival at Entebbe international Airport you will be met by your driver guide for your Uganda safari and transferred to your accommodation for the overnight. If your flight arrives early you can take a walk to the botanical gardens or Uganda Wildlife Education centre formerly the Zoo or just relax by the pool. Overnight The Boma Guest House

Day Two: Jinja Tour
After breakfast proceed to Jinja to see the source of the Nile. There after, travel to the Bujagali Falls where White Water Rafters enjoy rides through the Big Grade 5 white water rapids. (Those interested in white water rafting should pay for it separately). Overnight Nile Porch. Breakfast included

Day Three: Transfer to Murchison Falls
This morning transfer North West through Bombo to Murchison Falls National Park. After lunch in Masindi, drive to the Top of the Falls at the Bakers summit to marvel at the Spectacular Nile dropping in a wave of rapids through the Western Rift Valley.
Later, cross by ferry to the Paraa Safari Lodge for overnight.

Day Four: Game Drives – Boat cruise to bottom of Falls
Morning game viewing tour in the Northern Bank where you may spot Elephant, Buffalo, Uganda Kob, Hartebeest, Oribi, Giraffe, Leopard and other game. Return to the Lodge for a hearty lunch before taking boat cruise to the bottom of the falls to see Schools of Hippo, Crocodile, Waterbuck and a host of water birds. Overnight Paraa Lodge

Day Five: Morning and afternoon Game drives

Day Six: Kibaale Forest
Leave Murchison Falls and travel through Fort Portal with picnic lunch. Arrive late evening for a nocturnal walk in the Kibaale forest in search of the Galagos, Pottos and Bushbabies. Overnight Chimpanzee Forest Guest House.

Day Seven: Chimpanzee Trek
Transfer to the Kibaale Forest a morning chimpanzee and other primates trek with a ranger guide. Other primates to see include the Grey Cheecked Mangabeys, Red-tailed Monkey, Olive Baboon, Red and Black and White Colobus monkeys. After lunch visit the Bigodi wetlands. Day Eight: Game drive – Launch cruise
Early morning game viewing safari including the Kasenyi track in search of the cats. Return to the Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon there will be a launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel believed to host the largest concentration of Hippo in Africa. A variety of Migrant birds also colour the banks. Day Nine:Game drives
This morning drive to Maramagambo Forest for a Nature walk along trails to the Bat caves and the Blue Lake. You will have a chance of spotting some of the primate species, the colourful butterflies and a host of forest bird species endemics of the Albertrine rift.

In the evening, take a game drive in search of the Lion, Elephant, Hyena, Buffalo and other wild game. Overnight Mweya Lodge topi-sparring

Day Ten: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast drive to Bwindi Forest with a game drive in Ishasha sector of the park (if road conditions allow) in search of the elusive tree climbing lions. Picnic lunch will be provided. Continue on to Bwindi arriving late in the afternoon. Overnight Engagi Lodge

Day Eleven: Gorilla Tracking
After breakfast you will be taken to the park headquarters for a briefing on the gorilla tracking etiquettes. The rangers and guides will then take you through the thick and steep vegetation until the gorillas are located.

Once located, you will be allowed 1 hour with the gorillas. After the trek return to the park headquarters where you guide will be waiting for you to transfer back to the lodge. Overnight Engagi Lodge.

Day Twelve: Lake Bunyonyi
This morning you will drive through the scenic area known as “Little Switzerland” to the edge of Lake Bunyonyi one of Uganda’s Crater Lakes. Overnight Bunyonyi Overland Camp

Day Thirteen: Lake Mburo
Morning breakfast then take a canoe ride on this beautiful Lake to visit the Island that acted as a Leper asylum in the 1950′s. Later, travel to Lake Mburo National Park. Overnight Mantana Tented Camp.

Day Fourteen: Game viewing – Boat ride
Early morning safari walk, return to the camp for breakfast. Afternoon game viewing and a boat ride on the Lake. Overnight Mantana Tented Camp.

Day Fifteen: Entebbe – Ngamba Island
Early breakfast then proceed to Entebbe. After lunch, take a speed boat to the Jane Goodall Ngamba Chimpanzee Island to view the Chimps. Return in the evening for overnight at The Boma Guest House. Breakfast and lunch

Day Sixteen: Departure
Transfer to the airport to connect with your international flight out.
